RAINFOREST REPTILE SHOW

They're exotic crawlers, unusual slitherers and fascinating creepers: They are the creatures of the rainforest. These animals are not typical household pets, but they are welcome family members to the founders of Rainforest Reptile Shows. Rainforest Reptile Shows, a Massachusetts, family-based business, was established in November 1993 to educate and entertain people of all ages about reptiles, animals and the importance of preserving the natural habitats of the world.

Co-founders Joaney M. Gallagher and Michael K. Ralbovsky of Rainforest Reptile Shows, have over 200 exotic reptiles, ranging from iguanas, Burmese pythons, boa constrictors, lizards, turtles and American Alligators. Their animals are the stars in an interactive show that travels to many venues such as, schools, clubs, organizations, libraries, expositions and birthday parties.

Ralbovsky, a professionally trained herpetologist, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He went on to work at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, Fla., home to "Gomek", the largest crocodile in the world. Incidentally, Ralbovsky met his wife and business partner, Joaney Gallagher, at a demonstration in St. Augustine. She later proposed to him at a presentation in Gomek's enclosed habitat, in front of the crocodile and audience. The team's respect for animals extends to their fondness for children when they bring the show to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Children's Museum and the Boy/Girl Scouts.

Rainforest Reptile Shows also works with PETCO Corporation, one of the country's largest pet supply and pet store chains, as a reptile consultant in the northeast. Additionally, they provide training and assistance to the Massachusetts Environmental Police and conservation officers all over New England. Rainforest Reptile Shows also provides animals for Discovery and Animal Planet, along with numerous other TV shows and commercials. Rainforest Reptile Shows has also worked with Jeff Corwin of Corwin's Quest on several projects.

Rainforest Reptile Shows features background information on rainforest reptiles and their habitats, using a large variety of reptiles from all over the world. Information on specific reptile characteristics (from vision to innate defense mechanisms), custom-tailored programs to fit individual needs... In addition, the Rainforest Reptile Shows Team offers consulting services to zoological parks and zoos throughout the
